Becky Baumwoll is an NYC-based artist and the Founding Artistic Director of Broken Box. Onstage, Becky has worked regionally and Off-Broadway as an actor with words. Becky has directed projects small and large, from a US premiere of a Georgian play with Red Lab Productions to a Samsung Commercial all about hands. She currently works as a consultant with Arts Action Research, supporting arts leaders to strengthen their organizations by grounding their administration in the artistic process. Becky is a teaching artist with BKBX, Arts Ignite, and the International Rescue Committee. She is a 2020 BRIClab artist, 2021 ITAC Innovator, and 2021 NYC Women’s Fund grantee.
