BKBXKids! Presents: Destination: Everywhere

Praise for Destination: Everywhere!

“Our students were so engaged and awed by your performances! I know that this is going to be something they remember for a long time!”

Dara Coppolone, Music Teacher

“For the entire hour all of the kids were spellbound. There was not one behavioral problem during the show. This is something I have never seen before in my 7 years as an educator…

Since the show, the classrooms have been able to incorporate themes of how we communicate without using words into their daily routines, and have also used mime as a jumping off point for storytelling.”

Elizabeth Hartline, Education Director Bank Street Head Start

The Show

Broken Box Mime Theater (BKBX) celebrates storytelling beyond words with Destination: Everywhere. Set to contemporary music and guided by a speaking emcee, this hour-long collection of stories includes a tale of unlikely friendship with a giant, the multitasking troubles of a superhero on date night, and an intergalactic odyssey that won’t be complete without the audience’s help.

After the performance, families learn how to mime in a mini-mime workshop with the cast! Destination: Everywhere is a production of BKBXKids!the family programming wing of BKBX.

We are proud to partner with The Peoples Improv Theater to bring this wild ride to audiences on select Saturdays @ 3 PM from February to April 2018!
